Die Geschwindigkeit, mit der sie sich ausbreitet, ist in der Geschichte der Menschheit beispiellos. Ich spreche nicht von einem physischen Virus. Ich spreche von einer viel m\u00e4chtigeren Ansteckung; diese Ansteckung ist die Angst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Angst kann uns helfen, eine drohende Gefahr zu \u00fcberstehen, doch wenn sie als chronischer Zustand der Erwartung zuk\u00fcnftiger Ereignisse anh\u00e4lt, verliert sie jeden praktischen Nutzen und verursacht unn\u00f6tiges Leiden. Angst ist problematisch, wenn wir uns st\u00e4ndig in Kampf-, Flucht- oder Erstarrungsreaktionen befinden, die Hormone und Stresschemikalien freisetzen, die schlie\u00dflich zu echter Krankheit f\u00fchren. Was ist also das Heilmittel gegen Angst? Praktiken wie Meditation und Selbstbefragung k\u00f6nnen dazu f\u00fchren, dass wir uns weniger mit dem Ego identifizieren \u2013 und damit weniger Begierde und Abneigung empfinden, die Leiden verursachen. In der Welt der Meditation gibt es ein Sprichwort: \u201cSchmerz ist unvermeidlich, aber Leiden ist optional.\u201d Das Leben bringt zwangsl\u00e4ufig Schmerz mit sich, aber wie sehr wir leiden, h\u00e4ngt direkt davon ab, wie sehr wir uns der Erfahrung im gegenw\u00e4rtigen Moment widersetzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mithilfe von Achtsamkeitsmeditationstechniken k\u00f6nnen wir \u00fcben, unsere Aufmerksamkeit von den Gedanken selbst weg und hin zu dem zu lenken, was tats\u00e4chlich im Moment geschieht. Meditation f\u00f6rdert auch unsere F\u00e4higkeit, unsere Erfahrungen zu akzeptieren, selbst wenn sie unangenehm sind. Das k\u00f6nnen wir durch einfache Techniken erreichen. Zum Beispiel, indem wir unseren Fokus auf die tats\u00e4chlichen k\u00f6rperlichen Empfindungen der Angst richten. Untersuche die Empfindungen, die entstehen und wieder vergehen. Wie f\u00fchlt sich Angst im K\u00f6rper eigentlich an?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vielleicht ist da ein mulmiges Gef\u00fchl im Bauch, eine Verengung der Atemwege, schwitzende Handfl\u00e4chen oder vielleicht ein Druck oder Kribbeln im Solarplexus.
