Sa vitesse de propagation est sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent dans l'histoire humaine. Je ne parle pas d'un virus physique. Je parle d'une contagion bien plus puissante ; cette contagion, c'est la peur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La peur peut nous aider \u00e0 survivre \u00e0 une menace imminente, mais lorsqu'elle persiste sous forme d'\u00e9tat chronique d'anticipation des \u00e9v\u00e9nements futurs, elle perd tout avantage pratique et g\u00e9n\u00e8re des souffrances inutiles. La peur pose probl\u00e8me lorsque nous sommes constamment en mode de combat, de fuite ou d'inhibition, ce qui lib\u00e8re des hormones et des substances chimiques de stress qui finissent par provoquer de vraies maladies. Quel est donc le rem\u00e8de contre la peur ? Des pratiques telles que la m\u00e9ditation et auto-investigation peuvent conduire \u00e0 une moindre identification avec l'ego, r\u00e9duisant l'envie et l'aversion qui engendrent la souffrance. Il y a un adage dans le monde de la m\u00e9ditation : \u201c la douleur est in\u00e9vitable, mais la souffrance est facultative. \u201d La vie comporte n\u00e9cessairement son lot de douleurs, mais notre degr\u00e9 de souffrance est directement li\u00e9 \u00e0 notre r\u00e9sistance face \u00e0 l'exp\u00e9rience du moment pr\u00e9sent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En recourant aux techniques de m\u00e9ditation de pleine conscience, nous pouvons nous entra\u00eener \u00e0 d\u00e9tourner notre attention des pens\u00e9es elles-m\u00eames pour la porter sur ce qui se passe r\u00e9ellement \u00e0 l'instant pr\u00e9sent. La m\u00e9ditation cultive \u00e9galement notre capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 accepter nos exp\u00e9riences, m\u00eame lorsqu'elles sont d\u00e9sagr\u00e9ables. Nous pouvons y parvenir gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des m\u00e9thodes simples. Par exemple, en ramenant notre concentration sur les sensations corporelles r\u00e9elles de la peur. Observez les sensations qui surgissent et s'\u00e9vanouissent. Quel effet la peur produit-elle r\u00e9ellement dans le corps ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il s'agit peut-\u00eatre d'une sensation de boule au ventre, d'une contraction de la respiration, de mains moites, ou encore d'une pression ou de picotements au niveau du plexus solaire.
